Set up your wallet and connect to SentX

Get started on SentX with HashPack, our recommended wallet, or use Magic email login. Follow setup, connect the right account and find your receiving details.

Your wallet gives you an account for holding HBAR and NFTs. HashPack is our recommended wallet for getting started on SentX. If you prefer to begin with an email address, you can use SentX's Magic email login without installing a wallet extension.

Already have a Hedera account in HashPack? Skip installation and go straight to connecting it. If you are new, choose a path below.

Install and connect HashPack or sign in with email.

Install and connect HashPack

Step 1: Start at the official download page

Open HashPack's download page and choose the option for your device. HashPack provides a mobile app for iOS and Android and a desktop browser extension for supported browsers.

Use the store link from that official page. Check the app you are installing before continuing.

Result

  • You should now have HashPack available on your device or in your browser.

Step 2: Create or open your wallet

Open HashPack and follow its account setup. Its setup options include email and recovery-phrase accounts. Choose the method you intend to maintain and follow its backup instructions.

If you already have a wallet, use the appropriate existing-wallet option rather than creating a second account by accident. Never enter a recovery phrase into a SentX webpage, a support chat or an unsolicited form.

HashPack's account setup guide covers the current choices.

Result

  • You should now see your Hedera account in HashPack. Check that it is on mainnet when you intend to use the live SentX marketplace.

Step 3: Connect HashPack to SentX

Open SentX's connection page and choose Connect wallet. Select HashPack from the wallet choices.

Follow the connection request on your device. Desktop can connect through the extension; mobile can use the wallet's browser or the connection route presented. Check that the request is for SentX and select the account you want to use.

Result

  • You should now see that account connected on SentX. Compare its account ID with the one shown in HashPack.

Step 4: Check requests before approving

When an action asks HashPack to approve a request, read the operation, amount and account. Connecting once is not a reason to approve later requests without checking them.

A request to associate a token, approve an NFT spender and buy an NFT each has a different purpose. Understand the difference.

Sign in with email through Magic

Step 1: Choose email login on SentX

Open SentX's connection page and choose Sign in with email. The form is titled Sign in with Email.

Enter your Email address, check the spelling and choose Send code. Use an inbox you control and expect to keep using.

This is the Magic wallet route inside SentX. It is separate from creating a HashPack wallet with email. Using the same email in both products does not mean they are the same Hedera account.

Step 2: Complete the email verification

Follow the verification shown by Magic. On a new device, you may first receive an email asking you to approve that device. Complete that step if it appears, then continue with the code verification.

Enter the code only into the login flow you started. Do not share it with support or another person.

Result

  • You should return to SentX with an account connected. The in-app wallet identifies this provider as Email · Magic.

Step 3: Review actions inside SentX

Magic signs through the embedded wallet flow. You should not expect a separate HashPack-style wallet approval popup for every action.

Read SentX's confirmation and the amount before continuing. This is where you check the operation you are authorizing. Keep the transaction or operation reference until the result is clear.

Step 4: Keep access to the email account

Protect the inbox used for login and keep its recovery options current with your email provider. Do not assume SentX can restore the wallet if you lose access to that inbox.

To end the email session, open the in-app wallet and choose Sign out of email. Signing out does not cancel an operation already submitted.

Find your account and receive HBAR

Open My Wallet on SentX and choose Receive to view the receiving account details. Compare the account ID before transferring funds, especially if you have both a HashPack account and an email wallet.

Use Get HBAR for the next step. Once funds are in the connected account, follow Buy your first NFT with HBAR.

If you cannot connect

HashPack: open the wallet and check for a pending connection request. Confirm that you selected the intended account and site. Use Trouble connecting? on SentX if the connection is still unresolved. Check pending transactions before using connection-reset tools.

Email login: check the address, inbox and spam folder. Follow any device-approval email from the login you started. If the address is wrong, close the Magic dialog and reopen SentX's email form with the correct address. WalletConnect reset is not the first fix for a missing email code.

Connected but missing funds or NFTs: compare the account ID and network with the account that holds them. A new email wallet does not automatically import another wallet's assets.

For SentX support, share the public account ID and the message you see. Keep recovery phrases, private keys and login codes private.
